Destination Norway… why?

Steve and Eve could have chosen many different places to fly off to for the start of their climate adventures! They chose to head to Norway first because that is where they believe Eve has the best chance of finding her pack — the yin to her clang, the cheese to her macaroni — in adult language, where she has the best chance of meeting other electric cars like her.

Paul and Deborah decided to have our inspiring characters destined to visit Norway by the end of this first book of the series because for years the country has been demonstrating climate action leadership by encouraging the transition to Electric Vehicles with more urgency than any other country on the planet. This despite how large a role its fossil fuel industry plays within its economy.

So let’s go see how the EVs and animals of Norway are cultivating hope and opportunity in this era of climate change, before our Planet Heroes set Eve’s navigation system to the next region of the world making uplifting climate action progress!
